Important for Freight Deliveries

Please Inspect Your Furniture Before Accepting Delivery

When a freight shipment arrives, inspect the shipment and packaging carefully for visible damage before signing the carrier's Bill of Lading.

If you see damage, make sure it is clearly written on the Bill of Lading before you sign it. If the damage is significant, you may refuse the shipment so it can be returned to the factory.

Shipping Information

Furniture Made in USA ships directly from the factory to your home or business. Because furniture varies considerably in size, we use different carriers depending on the item and destination.

Large Furniture & Freight Shipments

Larger orders generally ship by LTL freight carrier, including TForce Freight or another carrier selected for the destination. These deliveries are typically made using large commercial trucks.

Smaller Items

Smaller products may ship by FedEx or another parcel carrier when their size and packaging allow. Large rocker cartons and other oversized furniture generally require freight service.

Free standard shipping is included in the product price for delivery within the contiguous 48 United States. Additional shipping charges apply to Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering for either state.

What Standard Freight Delivery Includes

  • Curbside delivery: Standard freight delivery is curbside.
  • Delivery appointment: The freight carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment.
  • Unloading the truck: Without liftgate service, you are responsible for getting the furniture off the truck and arranging any help needed. Drivers may choose to assist, but they are not required to do so and assistance is not guaranteed. If you cannot arrange unloading, contact us in advance to request liftgate service and a quote.
  • Liftgate service: Liftgate service is not included. It is available for an additional charge based on the carrier.
  • Inside delivery: Inside delivery is available for an additional charge. Contact us before shipment to arrange it and confirm pricing.
  • Being present: You do not have to be present if you agree with the carrier to have the shipment left unattended. An unattended delivery agreement does not include unloading assistance; confirm unloading arrangements with the carrier in advance. We recommend being present so you can inspect the shipment and document visible damage before accepting delivery.

Please contact us before your order ships if you need liftgate service or inside delivery. We will confirm the arrangements and additional charges with you before proceeding.

Assembly

Any required assembly is the customer's responsibility. Some rocking chairs require the runners to be attached after delivery, while others arrive fully assembled. Each product description explains the assembly requirements for that model. Instructions are usually included in the box, and the descriptions of rocking chairs requiring assembly also include an instructional video.

If your address has restricted truck access, a narrow road, gated entry, limited turning space, or another unusual delivery condition, please let us know before your order ships.

In the rare event that your location requires extraordinary access, special handling, or another unusual delivery arrangement, we will contact you before making any additional charge or arrangement requiring your approval.

What to Do When Your Furniture Arrives

Taking a few minutes to inspect a freight shipment at delivery helps protect you if the carrier damaged the furniture while it was in transit.

Inspect the Shipment

Look carefully at the carton, packaging, and any visible portion of the furniture for dents, tears, crushing, holes, or other signs of damage.

Document Any Damage

If damage is visible, clearly describe it on the carrier's Bill of Lading before signing. Photos are also extremely helpful when documenting a freight claim.

Refuse Serious Damage

If the shipment is significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery. It will be returned to the factory and replacement arrangements will be made as soon as possible.

Damaged Furniture & Replacement Policy

We want your furniture to arrive in the condition it left the factory. If shipping damage occurs, what happens next depends on whether the damage was identified at delivery or discovered afterward.

  • If visible damage is documented and the shipment is refused: we will coordinate the return and replacement. Return freight and replacement delivery for an accepted freight damage claim are covered.
  • If you accept the shipment and later discover concealed damage: contact us as soon as possible with a detailed description and clear photographs of the damage, furniture, carton, and packaging.
  • We will work with the freight carrier to submit the appropriate damage claim.
  • If the freight claim is approved, covered return transportation and replacement delivery will be arranged.
  • If a freight claim is denied, return transportation costs may become the customer's responsibility.
Please retain the original carton and packing materials when reporting concealed shipping damage. The freight carrier may require photographs or inspection of the original packaging when reviewing a claim.

Cancellation Policy

Many of our products are made to order specifically for the customer. Once the factory begins production, materials, finishing, and labor may already have been committed to your order.

If you cancel an order after production has begun, a 15% cancellation fee applies to help cover those costs.

If your furniture has already shipped, the order can no longer be treated as a production cancellation and the return policy below will apply.

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. The earlier we hear from you, the more options we may have before production begins.

Return & Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of the furniture we sell. If you receive your order and decide that you would like to return it, eligible returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to returned merchandise.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is the result of an approved shipping damage claim or another issue for which we have agreed to cover transportation.
  • Returned products must be in their original packaging and in new or like new condition.
  • Returns must be arranged within 30 days of the original delivery date.

Refunds are processed within 30 days after we receive the returned product and confirm its return condition.

Returns are not accepted more than 30 days after delivery.
