Choose the Farmhouse Chair when you want a compact ladder back dining chair. Its seat is 16 1/2 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches deep and sits 16 1/2 inches from the floor. Compare those measurements with a chair you already find comfortable, especially if you prefer a wider or deeper seat.

Fit and dimensions

Compare seat height and depth with a chair you find comfortable. Measure the clear space beneath the table apron and between the legs, then allow space to sit down and move each chair. Seat width is not the same as the chair’s total footprint.

What happens after you order?

Order confirmation: You receive confirmation of your order and selected options.
Factory scheduling: We submit your configuration to Troutman and share the estimated production or shipping window when the factory responds.
Shipping notification: When your furniture ships, we provide the available tracking or carrier information.
Delivery arrangements: For freight shipments, the carrier contacts you to arrange delivery. Your delivery estimate becomes clearer once the shipment is underway.

Will this model fit?

Compare the seat height, width and depth with a chair you already find comfortable. Measure from the floor to the underside of your table apron for legroom, and between table legs for chair spacing. Is it right for my location?

Finish appearance & color matching

Changes, returns, warranty & damage support

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible. Available changes depend on factory progress and must be confirmed. A 15% cancellation fee applies after production begins. Once the order ships, the return policy applies.

What if I need to return it?

Eligible returns must be arranged within 30 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies. Items must be in their original packaging and in new or like new condition. You pay return shipping unless an approved damage claim or another agreed exception covers it. Refunds are processed within 30 days after receipt and confirmation of return condition.

What warranty applies?

Troutman publishes a lifetime frame warranty for its chairs. Contact us for help confirming the current written terms for this model, your intended use, covered components and any claim costs. Coverage for seats, finishes and other components must be confirmed with Troutman.

What if it arrives damaged?

For freight delivery, inspect before signing and write visible damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading. You may refuse significant damage. For damage discovered after delivery, contact us promptly with photos and keep the carton and packaging. We help coordinate the claim; transportation coverage depends on claim approval.

Planning for freight delivery

Standard freight delivery is curbside. Without liftgate service, you are responsible for unloading your furniture from the truck and arranging the help needed. Driver assistance is not guaranteed. A liftgate lowers the shipment from the truck to ground level; it does not include carrying furniture inside. Liftgate and inside delivery services cost extra and must be arranged in advance.
