We have been in the NC furniture business for many years, and worked with many of the great mfg, providing computer systems to help with their business. After meeting a special gentleman by the name of Bill Shaver, I was taught the NC chair business. He tried to get me to buy his company several times.

Bill owned Shaver Woodworks in Troutman, NC., and produced some of the best ladderback chairs in the country. I helped Bill get started with his 1st website at 84 years old, to sell his chairs, and stools. The first order he received from the website, he was amazed, and just could not quiet understand it, but he liked it. About 1 month after that, he passed away. His family continued the busines for about 6 months and closed the doors. God rest Bill's soul. He was a great business man and mentor to me.

When his family took over the business, they did not want an internet furniture business. This is when we took over the website we created for Bill, and changed the name to www.flattopwoodworks.com . After this we started new relationships with local mfg.. of wooden furniture, in Troutman, Yadkinville, and High Point, NC

Dixie Seating Co is a family company from Statesville, North Carolina.  They've been in business since the 1930s and have been provinding their customers with some of the best chairs, rockers, stools, benches and swings ever since!

Troutman Chair Co has been making rockers, stools, chairs, and other wooden furniture since 1924. We have been working with Troutman Chair since 1999.

Uwharrie Chair has been making solid pine outdoor furniture in High Point, NC for many years. They offer a lifetime warranty on their product which is second to none. We have been working with Uwharrie chair since 2001.

Today we are operating from Mocksville, NC, which is within 30 minutes of our 3 main factories.
